WRA is organising a workshop on dyeing of handmade namdas at Tonk, Rajasthan in association with Rural Non Farm Development Agency (RUDA), Jaipur, Rajasthan. Workshop will be planned for 2 weeks from the end of March, 2003. The proposed contents of the workshop will be predyeing preparations of namdas and dyeing with different types of dyes, shade matching, defects in dyeing and its rectification, techniques of dye fixation and fastness properties.

Use of natural dyes and softening aspects are also to be covered during training. The Scientists of WRA will be camped at Tonk, Rajasthan for giving this training to the local participants of workshop. This programme will be well disseminated in local language also.
