Bureau of Indian Standards organised a meeting TX 04 on the subject "Wool and Wool Products Including Floor Coverings" Sectional Committee, TX 04 at Wool Research Association. This was the first time that BIS organised a meeting at WRA. WRA is a member of Sectional Committee for Textile Documentation on Textile related subjects including testing services, machinery, etc.

The representative of WRA has always represented the meeting of the Sectional Committee for various subjects.

The said TX04 meeting was organised at Wool Research Association on 26th February, 2003 Wednesday at 11.00 a.m. Shri. R.K. Khanna, one of the Governing Council Member of Wool Research Association was present for this meeting on behalf of the Woollen Industries. BIS Director was happy to see the infrastructure of WRA and has promised for future interaction.
