The national seminar on "The Role of Biotechnology in the development of Indian Economy" was conducted by University of Mumbai and jointly organised by KET's V.G. Vaze College of Art, Science & Commerce, Mulund, Mumbai on 22nd and 23rd February, 2003. Director, WRA attended the said seminar to highlight the facilities at National Eco-Testing Laboratory.

WRA's facilities of Instrumental Chemical Analysis and the specialist available on Natural Dyeing /Vegetable Dyeing will be useful in the field of Biotechnology, remarked Dr Govind Paratkar - Reader and Head of Botany Department, V.G. Vaze College of Art, Science & Commerce, Mulund, Mumbai.

A considerable batch size of the students from the same college is expected for the Certificate Course in Instrumental Chemical Analysis during the vacation.
