Administration & Accounts Officer - I :

 

As Incharge of Administration and Accounts, he is responsible for total management of finance, disbursement of grants & income (expenditure), provision of different taxation.  He also acts as the Secretary of the Association, thus having the responsibilities towards Secretarial Work and Company Law. 

 

He is working in consultation with the President and the Director on all policy matters.

 

The officers and employees are given individual appointment letters in which their duties and scope of work are mentioned.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clause (iii) -  the procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability;

 

 

Technical Committee:

 

The Technical Committee was formed in 1980 with an objective to not only assess the progress but also should primarily engage itself to the real problems faced by the industry and with which WRA should be actively involved.

 

It consists of a Chairman & 10 member.  All these members are qualified, experienced technical experts in the field of Textile Technology and manufacture.

 

Functions:

 

-           To guide on the projects, monitor its progress and advise on problems if it is referred to them.

 

-           To examine and approve capital investment proposals.

 

-           Authorise, examine and advise on any type of technical issues involving WRA activity.

 

-           The concerned officers of the departments make / recommend requirements / problems to Director and the Director gives the decision if it is not a major policy.  If it pertains to policy the same is put before the members of Governing Council/ Technical Committee and accordingly the decision is sort.

We are holding meetings of the Governing Council & Technical Committee and maintain minutes of their record.  The same would be made available / accessible to the public.
